DESCRIPTION:The 3rd annual Water Day is a partnership of Owen County Soil and Water Conservation District\, Purdue Cooperative Extension\, and BBP Water. The event will have activities for all ages; including a rubber duck race\, an aquatic insect table\, well testing demonstrations\, and tours of the water treatment plant.  BBP Water is roasting a hog for the event\, so lunch is provided on a first come\, first served basis.  Hope you can make it!

SUMMARY:March to the Park
DESCRIPTION:McCormick’s Creek State Park is Indiana’s first state park\, and they’re gearing up for their BIG centennial celebration on June 24-25th. MYPath Trail System is getting involved with March to the Park at 9am on Saturday\, June 25th. The “march” where people can walk\, run\, bike\, stroll\, etc. starts at Cooper Commons and continues along River Road to end at McCormick’s Creek State Park. MYPath will offer an alternate route: instead of going straight to River Road\, take the MYPath Riverfront Trail for the first part of the march and end up along River River road to meet the rest of the group. If you want to learn more and register\, check out Friends of McCormick’s Creek State Park and visit www.friendsmccormickscreek.org. Lunch is included with your registration.  If you sign up before June 17th\, it’s only $2.

SUMMARY:MYPath Riverfront Trail Grand Opening
DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to announce that Phase I of the MYPath Riverfront Trail will be opening!! Join us for the opening ceremony which will include a ribbon cutting by Owen County Chamber of Commerce & Economic Development Corporation\, a guided hike of the trail by Owen County Soil and Water Conservation District and of course\, delicious trail mix supplied by Babbs Supervalu and coffee from Main Street Coffee.  Park at Cooper Commons and walk south across the bridge and head east just past the bridge to the entrance to the trail.
